What iCIMS does have is a workflow rules engine that guides users through the process: entrance criteria that block advancement until required steps are done, guided prompts that surface the right action when a candidate reaches a stage, and notification triggers that alert the right people when something happens. Configured well, this makes a significant difference in how consistent and reliable your hiring process runs.
Entrance criteria are rules that enforce what must be completed before a candidate can be moved to the next stage. They act as a compliance gate. Auto-launch prompts are guided actions that appear when a recruiter moves a candidate to a specific status, surfacing the right task at the right moment without the recruiter having to remember what comes next. Both live inside iCIMS’s native workflow rules engine and we configure both as part of a standard engagement.
